MATCO / EMC² INAUGURATED THE FIRST CUSTOMER SOLUTION CENTER IN THE MIDDLE EAST IN AL-KHOBAR, SAUDI ARABIA.

As part of a major investment program to provide customers with world class facilities to observe, test and benchmark EMC² proven solutions; EMC² and MATCO announced on July 2008 the opening of the regions first Customer Solution Center in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The Customer Solution Center is one of a growing number of such centers planned for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is the 14th to be opened in the last 12 months BUT the first in the Middle East. In choosing Saudi Arabia as the first location for such centers in the Middle East, EMC² recognizes the importance of the Saudi market in the region’s IT growth specifically in the areas of Information storage, consolidation, backup and security. As EMC² ‘s only Signature™ partner in Saudi Arabia, MATCO will host this and future Customer Solution Centers in the Kingdom.

The Solution Center will organize and run regular workshops covering the most pressing problems facing companies today which customers can book on-line or via telephone. Each workshop program will run for a period of 3 months. In the workshops fully trained technical staff will run live demonstrations showing proven solutions on representative hardware & software configurations.
